The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced its new central contracts for the 2024-25 season, with notable inclusions and promotions. ShreyasIyer has been awarded a Grade B contract, marking his return to the central contract list after missing out last season. Grade A+ includes stalwarts like Rohit Sharma, ViratKohli, JaspritBumrah, and RavindraJadeja, while Grade A features players such as Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya. Alongside Iyer, Grade B includes Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and YashasviJaiswal. Grade C comprises emerging talents and consistent performers like Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, and Ishan Kishan.

The contracts cover the period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, and reflect the BCCI’s recognition of players’ contributions and potential heading into a busy international calendar.
