Muzarabani has never played an IPL match but has been a net bowler at LSG in the past. Current RCB head coach Andy Flower was in the backroom at LSG at the time.

The two players have also played together for Multan Sultans in the PSL and Gulf Giants in the ILT20. Muzarabani has been one of Zimbabwe's stars in Test cricket in recent months, taking 26 wickets in his last four Tests.

This includes a nine-wicket match feat in Zimbabwe's win over Bangladesh in the Sylhet Test in April.
