Dushmantha Chameera and Lahiru Kumara have been nominated for Sri Lanka's 15-member team for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022. However, their participation would depend on their fitness level before the competition.
Only Ashen Bandara and Praveen Jayawickrama will accompany the team to Australia; Dinesh Chandimal, Binura Fernando, and Nuwanidu Fernando are listed as standbys. The T20 World Cup starts on October 16 and concludes on November 13 at the MCG.

Dhananjaya de Silva

Dasun Shanaka joined the Sri Lankan side as an all-rounder but has since only featured as a batter, particularly in T20 Internationals.
