The West Indies cricket team toured Australia from October to December 2022 and played two Tests and two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Both teams prepared for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup through the T20Is, while the Test matches were a part of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship. Cricket Australia confirmed the dates for the tour in May 2022.
The Australian team won the T20I series 2–0 and the Test series 2–0, retaining the Frank Worrell Trophy for the second consecutive year.
Originally, the tour was scheduled for October 2020. Cricket Australia confirmed the series schedule on May 28, 2020. These matches were originally planned as warm-ups for the 2020 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. However, in July 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the International Cricket Council (ICC) decided to postpone the T20 World Cup until 2021. In August 2020, three T20I matches were also postponed due to the pandemic, and because they clashed with the 2020 Indian Premier League.
