The 2022 Vitality Blast was the 2022 season of the Twenty20 Blast, a professional cricket league played in England and Wales. The tournament took place from 25 May to 16 July 2022. Because of sponsorship reasons, the England and Wales Cricket Board's (ECB) domestic T20 tournament was rebranded as the Vitality Blast for the 5th consecutive season. This tournament's fixtures were announced by the ECB on 20 January 2022.
After the league stage matches, Yorkshire Vikings, Hampshire Hawks, Lancashire Lightning, and Somerset qualified for the semifinals of the tournament as a result of their remarkable wins. As a result of the 1st semifinal between Yorkshire Vikings and Lancashire Lightning, Lancashire Lightning advanced to the finals. The second semifinal was between Hampshire Hawks and Somerset. Hampshire Hawks won this match and advanced to the final.
In the final, Hampshire Hawks beat Lancashire Lightning by one run to earn their 3rd championship title in a row.
