The 2023 Pakistan Super League (also known as PSL 8 or, for sponsorship reasons, HBL PSL 2023) was the 8th season of the Pakistan Super League. It is an annual Twenty20 cricket franchise league established by the Pakistan Cricket Board. In Ramiz Raja's tenure as PCB chairman, an auction-based system was proposed to replace the draft. However, this year also teams were made based on the draft system. The tournament's draft was held in Karachi on 15 December. A total of 36 foreign players were drafted this year for the PSL teams along with local players.
The tournament was scheduled for 13 February to 19 March 2023. The league stage this year saw teams play well, but the season ended with some thrills. One of the big changes was that PCB moved the Final to 18 March 2023 due to poor weather in Lahore.
Lahore Qalandars beat Multan Sultans with a minor margin of 1 run to win their 2nd championship in a row.
