The New Zealand T20I Tri-Series 2022 was played in October 2022 as a preparation series for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. It was a tri-nation series between New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, all played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). It was confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board on June 26, 2022 that they would be participating in the tournament. On June 28, New Zealand Cricket confirmed the fixtures for the upcoming tournament, which will be played at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
In the series, Pakistan and New Zealand performed well, while Bangladesh performed poorly. The series had 6 matches before the final match. Despite their best efforts, Bangladesh failed to win a single match. As a result of this, New Zealand and Pakistan played their final match of this tri-nation series.
In the final, Mohammad Nawaz scored 38 off 22 balls to lead Pakistan to a one-sided victory over New Zealand at home.
