The Indian cricket team toured the West Indies and the United States of America in July and August 2022. To play 3 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 5 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) matches.
In June 2022, the full schedule of the tour was announced. As per the schedule, the 3 One-Day International matches and the 1st T20I were played in Trinidad and Tobago. The next 2 T20Is were played in St. Kitts and Nevis, and the final 2 T20Is were played in Lauderhill, Florida, USA.
In the ODI matches series, India played superbly well and won 3 matches with a margin of 3-0. Young Indian players performed exceptionally well under the leadership of Shikhar Dhawan, the newly appointed captain of India's ODI team.
However, after the ODI matches, the Indian team played exceptionally well in T20I matches as well. They outperformed the West Indies team in their favorite format and won the 5-match T20Is series by a margin of 4-1.
