The Indian cricket team toured New Zealand in November 2022 to play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The series was scheduled before the 2022 T20 World Cup, and India traveled to New Zealand immediately after the T20 World Cup. It was confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) before the T20 World Cup.
Among the first matches of the series were T20Is. During the three T20I matches, the first match was abandoned due to rain, the second match was won by India, and the third match ended in a tie. India’s team played exceptionally well in foreign conditions, especially Suryakumar Yadav and Mohammad Siraj. The team won the T20I series 1-0.
For ODIs, both teams only get to play the first match, because rain wrecked the second and third matches. The New Zealand team performed exceptionally well in the first ODI (1st match) and won the series 1-0.
