The Bangladesh cricket team toured Zimbabwe in July and August 2022 to play 3 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 3 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). The series was part of the inaugural ICC Cricket World Cup Super League from 2020 to 2023.
This tour was originally scheduled to consist of 2 Tests and 3 ODIs, but the Tests were replaced by three Twenty20 Internationals. All matches were played at the Harare Sports Club.
Prior to this series, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) appointed Nurul Hasan as its T20I captain for the tour, following Mahmudullah's lack of performance and results. However, Nurul sustained a finger injury during the 2nd T20I match and will not be able to participate in the remaining matches of the tour. During the 3rd T20I match, Mosaddek Hossain was appointed the team's captain by the BCB.
As a whole, Zimbabwe emerged victorious from this series of 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is. Both formats were won by the team with a margin of 2-1 and they outclassed Bangladesh.
