On Monday the chief of Pakistan cricket board Mohsin Naqvi along with other Board members is going to meet with the former cricketers to gather their opinions and recommendations.

Pakistan’s dismal performance in the T20 World Cup which saw them being knocked out in group stage has left PCB in a state of worry. The board is determined to find answers and rectify their mistakes to help Pakistan cricket bounce back.

To explore ways to enhance the domestic cricket system, the PCB has extended invitations to 25 former international cricket players to attend a meeting. On Monday, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi and other board members will meet with the former mainstays to gather their opinions and recommendations.

The discussion will focus on how to close the quality gap between Pakistan’s domestic cricket leagues and international cricket. A thorough plan submitted by another former player outlining the issues with the nation’s current cricket system will also be discussed at the meeting.
