Jacob Bethell has been ruled out of the Men's Hundred 2026 due to a right knee injury.

Bethell was retained by the Birmingham Phoenix for GBP 340,000 ahead of The Hundred's inaugural player auction and was even appointed as the team's captain ahead of the season.

Bethell sustained the injury during the just-concluded ODI series against India, and underwent an MRI scan on Monday morning, which ruled him out of the 100-ball competition.Bethellwill begin his rehabilitation soon.

Bethell scored 76* off 46 balls in the second T20I and a 91 in the final ODI among a string of low scores in between.
