The Gujarat Titans pulled off a surprising upset, putting an end to the Rajasthan Royals’ undefeated streak in the IPL 2024. Led by Shubman Gill, the Gujarat Titans secured victory in a nail-biting match at the SawaiMansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday, April 10th.
After winning the match, Rashid said, “Well, that’s something that, you know, happens to you. You do it again and again. Then it becomes a habit. I think it just becomes a kind of mindset. We can chase that, and we can get to the total. It’s all about, like, making sure you have the mindset that we can get. And you know, we have done it a few times in the last couple of seasons. And I think now it has just become a kind of habit.”

Rashid added, “Well, it was just more about belief, you know. I think we had it in our minds that we won a few games in the last couple of seasons while chasing such a total in the last three overs. And we chased 50 as well. But it was not something like impossible. We just need to make sure that we have the right mindset for it and the right intent to get those runs in those 18 worlds. So I think that was something we had in mind. And me and Rahul just discussed, like, It’s a matter of hitting a couple of two or three good shots, and I think it’s going to be all good then.
