New York Strikers and Team Abu Dhabi met at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. The New York Strikers won the toss and chose to field first. 

Chris Lynn and Hales came to the middle to open the bowling attack of Akeal Hosein. In the 2nd over, Lynn bought the first boundary for the side and lost his wicket to Tom Hartley. After 2 overs, Abu Dhabi scored 11-1 after 2 overs. In the immediate over, James Vince and Hales bought two sixes, one each. 

Scoring 17 runs in 12 balls, Hales got a dismissal from Tom Hartley. Meanwhile, Vince got out to Riaz, scoring 14 in 6 balls. After 5 overs, Abu Dhabi got to a score of 39-4. 

After 7 overs, Abu Dhabi boys crossed the half-century, standing at a score of 61-6. In 10 overs, Abu Dhabi posted 78 runs on the scoreboard with a loss of 8 wickets. 

To begin the chase for 79 runs, Stirling and Muhammad Waseem came to the middle with Naveen-ul-Haq on the opening bowling attack.  

In the first ball only, Stirling lost his wicket and the left-handed batter, Eoin Morgan came to the crease. In the 2nd over, Waseem drilled a four and a six, getting to a score of 19-1 after 2 overs. Morgan scored 15 in 15 runs and lost his wicket to Adil Rashid. 

After 5 overs, Ney Strikers reached a score of 38-2 after 5 overs. In the immediate over, Waseem drilled three sixes in the over from Payne that led them to cross the half-century with a score of 58-2 after 6 overs.  

With Waseem on the pitch, New York Strikers scored 79 runs with a loss of 3 wickets in 7.3 overs.
