At National Stadium, the squads, Karachi Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi faced off against each other. With both the captains on the pitch, Karachi Kings won the toss and chose to field first.

After 8 overs, PSZ jumped to a score of 77-2. In the 11th over, Cadmore reached his 50-run stand and the side crossed the century, standing at a score of 103-2. After 14 overs, PSZ jumped to a score of 139-2. 

Drilling a huge score of 68 off 46, Babar Azam lost his wicket to Tahir. After 17 overs, PSZ got to a score of 171-3. Fueling a huge score of 92 in 50 balls, Cadmore lost to Cutting. 

In 20 overs, PSZ posted 199 runs with a loss of 5 wickets. 

To chase down the target of 200, Wade and Sharjeel Khan unveiled the batting attack on the opening bowling of Riaz. In the first bowl only, Sharjeel Khan lost his wicket and the right-handed batter, Haider Ali came to the crease. 

In the consecutive over, Wade hit the first six for the side and the side got a score of 34-1 after 3 overs. Scoring 23 in 15 balls, Wade lost his wicket to Neesham.

After 5 overs, KRK score shifted to 43-2 and the side crossed the half-century after 8 overs, standing at a score of 58-4. 

After 10 overs, KRK jumped to a score of 83-3 and the side crossed the century, standing at a score of 118-4 after 13 overs. In the 15th over, Imad Wasim reached his 50-run stand and the side reached a score of 139-4. 

In 20 overs, KRK scored 197 runs with a loss of 5 wickets and lost the match by 2 runs.
