With the stellar pacers on side, India allowed Pakistan to score 159 in 20 overs with the loss of 8 wickets in Ind vs Pak match. The Men in Blue were outstanding with the bowl and took initial wickets to restrain the innings of Pakistan. Arshdeep and Pandya took 3 wickets each for India, breaking the backbone of their arch rival.

To chase down the target of 160 runs scored in topsy-turvy innings, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma opened the batting side with Shaheen Afridi on the swing attack.

Likewise India’s innings, Pakistan kept their bowling tight. Naseem Shah bowled out Rahul in the 2nd over only, who added just 4 runs in 8 balls. With his fall of wicket, Kohli took the batting charge. Meanwhile, Rohit lost his wicket to Haris Rauf who got caught out to Iftikhar Ahmed.

Joining Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav came to the crease who punched straight back for the first boundary, with the duo moving the score to 17-2 after 4 overs. Haris Rauf was on the fire attacking mode and picked the wicket of SKY knowing the importance of this wicket.

Pakistan is the only squad to limit the potential of SKY, looking at the previous stats, he scored 11 off 8 in WC 2021, 18 off 18 & 13 off 10 in Asia Cup 2022, and 15 off 10 in WC 2022.

India sank further with loss of more wickets but Pandya’s powerful thumping of the four with Kohli on side, the duo managed the team to cross half-century, standing at a score of 54-4 after 11 overs. The 12th over proved to be fortunate enough for India with Pandya slamming the first six of the innings and Kohli getting another sixer for the team in the same over, moving up to 74-4 after 12 overs.

Kohli and Pandya powered India to cross the century, scalping 100-4 after 15 overs. In the death overs, Kohli got to his 50 with an excellent knock.

The lethal combination of Kohli and Pandya broke when Pandya lost his wicket, getting 40 off 37, strengthening India till the ending overs.

Dinesh Karthik took the lead under pressure in association with Kohli. Flipping the game in the favor of India, Kohli delivered a powerpack performance, amassing 82 runs not out, emerging victorious against Pakistan by 4 wickets.

What an amazing performance from both the teams but it’s India who have the last laugh in this India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2022 match.
