After successfully playing two ODI matches of the 3-match series, Ireland and Zimbabwe came against each other at Harare Sports Club, Harare. 

To begin the 3rd match, Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bat first. Starting the innings till 13 overs, Zimbabwe scored 55 runs with a loss of 1 wicket. The Irish bowler, Mark Adair dismissed Chibhabha, who scored 16 runs in 28 balls. Thereafter, rain impeded their gameplay and both teams waited hours in the hope of resumption.

With the officials determining the pitch condition, the match was abandoned and was declared as no result. Ireland and Zimbabwe stand at score, 1-1 in the series.
