Mumbai Indians Women and UP Warriorz faced each other in the 15th match of WPL at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. UP Warriorz won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews came to bat, and Rajeshwari Gayakwad opened the bowling attack. In the 4th over, Matthews hit back-to-back two sixes and it was the first boundary of the match.
