To chase the run score of 149, Koncharoenkai and Natthakan Chantham opened the batting attack while Deepti Sharma came up for opening the bowling attack.
Thai women started it slow and got just 1 run in the first over. Koncharoenkai played a nice shot to hit the first boundary in the 2nd over. Getting just 5 off 10 balls, Koncharoenkai lost her wicket early to Deepti Sharma and the Thai women stood at 10-1 after 4 overs. The side lost their wickets frequently and moved the score to 28-4 after 9 overs.
Cumulatively, they managed to cross the half-century after 15 overs, getting a score of 50-4 after 15 overs.
The partnership of Naruemol Chaiwai and Nattaya Boochatham weren’t of much help for Thailand as they could only stand to shift the score to 61.
With Shafali Verma on the bowling attack, Rosenan Kanoh could only get 5 off 4. India women had a firing bowling on the pitch, bowling out the Thai women frequently and they were at just 72-8 after 19 overs.
Thai women could only manage to score 74-9 after 20 overs and India women won the match by huge 74 runs.
