Which Country Won Most Women’s T20 World Cups?

The Australian women’s cricket team has won the most ICC Women’s World Cup titles with seven wins in 1978, 1982, 1988, 1997, 2005, 2013 and 2022.

The ICC Women’s World Cup is the oldest women’s world championship in sport, and it is organized by the International Cricket Council¬†(ICC). From 1973 to 2000, the Women’s World Cup was held irregularly, but since 2005, each edition has been separated by four years.

Australia dominates the Women’s World Cup winners list, with seven titles (1978, 1982, 1988, 1997, 2005, 2013 and 2022). In addition, they are the only team to have won three editions in a row. Similar to their Men’s National Team, they have a fighting spirit and a never-say-die attitude. This enabled them to win the match from their competitors’ hands, as they did against India in the final of the Women T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia.
