Babar Azam

The T20 World Cup in 2021 took a few unexpected turns for most of the teams. In that edition, Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam, scored 303 runs in 3 games to lead his team to victory. He had a 126.25 strike rate while playing at a 60.60 average. They gave it their all, but they were unable to raise the World Cup trophy.

Rohit Sharma

In the T20 World Cups, Rohit Sharma has amassed the highest international runs. He has constantly played for India since the first World Cup season. He has appeared in 33 games and scored 800 runs, making him one of the team’s important players.

His strike rate remains constant throughout all of his playing formats at 131.52. During the T20 World Cup, he has consistently been on fire, scoring eight times or more.

Babar Azam, though, has exceeded the mark the most of any batter in the World Cup four times.
