Positioned at the top of the points table with Wellington on the 1st and Central Districts on the 2nd, the squads had to play against each other. 

Both the squads were up in the hope to defeat each other but the rain interrupted their gameplay. Rain started and the match was abandoned without a toss. 

So far, Wellington and Central Districts have appeared in 5 matches of Super Smash and both have 3 out of them. On the ground, Basin Reserve, Wellington, both teams were about to play their 6th match.
