For the 7th match of Super Smash, the teams Central Districts and Canterbury came up at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth where the latter team won the toss and opted to bat first. 

Bowes and Matthew Boyle came to the open the batting attack on the throw from Randell. In the first over only, Bowes and Boyle slammed two boundaries, one each and Boyle lost his wicket. After 3 overs, the side got a score of 21-1. In the 4th over, Bowes crunched a four and a six and lost his wicket after scoring 24 in 11 balls. 

After 7 overs, the side crossed the century, standing at a score of 55-2. Fueling 33 off 19, McConchie lost his wicket to Jayden. With Carter standing tough, CNTBRY crossed the century with a score of 101-3 after 12 overs. 

In the 15th over, Carter reached his 50-run stand and he kept slamming fours in the next few overs. 

In 20 overs, CNTBRY posted 186 runs with a loss of 3 wickets. 

For the run chase of 187, Greg Hay and Ben Smith came to the middle with Shipley on the bowling attack. In the first over, Hay and Smith hit two boundaries, one each.

Smith crunched a six and a four in the 3rd over and the boys got a score of 31 by the end of the over. After 5 overs, CD boys crossed the half-century with a score of 52. Fueling 34 in 14 balls, Smith lost his wicket to Nuttall. After 13 overs, CD crossed the century with a score of 109-4. 

Adding a huge score of 40 off 31, Cleaver got a dismissal from ORourke. In the 17th over, Clarkson drilled two fours and two sixes, jumping up to a score of 160-5. 

In 19.1 overs, CD scored 187 with a loss of 6 wickets and won the match against CNTBRY by 4 wickets.
