In the first innings, the power performance of KL Rahul and Kohli stunned the Bangladeshi pacers and the team managed to score 184 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. 

For the run chase of 185, Shanto and Litton Das unveiled the batting attack to witness the bowling encounter of Bhuvneshwar. 

Litton made a thrilling start for Bangladesh and crunched three boundaries in the 2nd over and got a score of 14 after 2 overs. In the consecutive over, Litton picked the ball up for another two boundaries and a six and the score suddenly shifted to 30 after 3 overs. 

Seeing no other way, Litton kept slamming fours and sixes and got up to 50 in 21 balls; the side crossed the half-century while standing at score of 60 after 6 overs. 

With Shanto on side, Littion helped his team score to 66 after 7 overs with no loss of wicket. 

Out of nowhere, rain impeded the innings of Bangladesh and questioned the hopes of fans of both sides. Due to heavy rain, the match was reduced to 16 overs and the target to 151 runs. 

Resuming the innings, Litton took his position back and lost his wicket to Ashwin, fueling a score of 60 in 27 balls. 

With Shanto on the batting charge, got 21 runs in 25 balls for the side and got a dismissal on a throw from Shami. Bangladesh reached at a score of 88 after 10 overs with loss of 2 wickets.

Shakib Al Hasan and Yasir Ali on pitch, Bangladesh reached the century, standing at a score of 100 in 12 overs. After a gap of overs, Hasan smashed a four in the 15th over on a throw from Arshdeep Singh and theri score moved up to 120 after 14 overs with a loss of 6 wickets. 

In the consecutive over, Takin Ahmed played a wonderful shot on a throw from Hardik Pandya. After 15 overs, Bangladesh got to a score of 131-6. 

Bangladesh failed to chase down the target created by the India team and got defeated by 5 runs.
