Hayden made 62 out of 47, but Australia was eliminated in the semifinals.

Tillakaratne Dilshan 

Dilshan, a hero in Sri Lanka, scored 317 runs in the T20 World Cup in 2009. From 2007 to 2014, he played for Sri Lanka in five T20 World Cups, saving the national sport. He was crucial in advancing Sri Lanka to the T20 World Cup finals in 2009, although they ultimately fell to Pakistan in the year’s last T20 match.

Mahela Jayawardene

Shane Watson

However, despite his all-around success, the Caribbeans were able to win the tournament for their team in the final match.

Most Runs in 2021 T20 World Cup 

Babar Azam

For the majority of the squads, the T20 World Cup in 2021 had several unexpected turns. Babar Azam, the captain for Pakistan in that edition, amassed 303 runs in 3 games throughout the tournament. He played at a 60.60 average with a 126.25 strike rate. Despite putting on a fantastic effort, they were unable to hoist the World Cup trophy.

Most Runs In T20 WC By Indian Player 

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma has scored the highest international runs in the T20 World Cups. Since the first World Cup season, he has consistently represented India. One of the key players on the men in blue’s squad, he has played in 33 games and scored 800 runs.

He keeps his strike rate at 131.52 across all of his playing formats. He has always been on fire during the T20 World Cup, hitting eight fifty-plus scores.

The most of any batter in the World Cup, though, is Babar Azam’s four times over the mark.
