Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi faced each other in the 15th match of the PSL at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to bat first.

Mirza Baig and Fakhar Zaman came to bat, and Arshad Iqbal opened the bowling attack. Mirza Baig hit the four on the fifth ball and it was the first boundary of the match. He got out on the third ball after scoring 5(7). In the fifth over, Shafique hit six on the first ball and hit four on the fifth ball. Lahore didn’t have great powerplay and lost one wicket. After 6 overs, LHQ was at 36-1.

In the 7th over, Shafique hit a six on the second ball and hit four on the last ball, and Lahore reached 50 runs. In the 11th over, Shafique reached his fifty with a bang as he sashed six on Neesham. In the 12th over, Shafique hit a six, and Lahore reached 100 runs. After 12 overs, Lahore was at 108-1.

In the 13th over, Fakhar Zaman started the over with a six. Shafique smashed back-to-back two boundaries and got out on the last ball after scoring 75(41). In the 14th over, Fakhar Zaman hit six on the fifth ball and scored a half-century in 32 balls. In the 15th over, Fakhar Zaman hit six on the second ball, and Billings hit six on the fourth ball.

In the 16th over, Fakhar Zaman started the over with six, and Billings hit two fours. In the 18th over, Fakhar smashed two fours and two sixes and got out on the last ball after scoring 96(45). Lahore reached 200 runs in the 18th over. In the 20th over, Billings hit back-to-back two boundaries. 

In 20 overs, Lahore Qalandars scored 241 with a loss of 3 wickets.

Chasing 242 runs, Mohammad Haris and Babar Azam came to the field, and Shaheen Afridi opened the bowling attack. Mohammad Haris got out on duck on the second ball. Saim Ayub came to bat and hit two fours. In the 3rd ball, Babar Azam hit a four on the fourth ball and got out on the fifth ball after scoring 7(6). Peshawar Zalmi reached 50 runs in the fifth over. 

In the 7th over, Kohler-Cadmore hit two boundaries. Saim Ayub hit four on the third ball, and the partnership between Saim Ayub and Tom Kohler-Cadmore reached 50 runs. In the 9th over, Kohler-Cadmore hit two six & one four, and Peshawar Zalmi reached 100 runs. In the 10th over, Saim Ayub started the over with a six, and Kohler-Cadmore hit a six and reached his half-century on the third ball. After 10 overs, Peshawar Zalmi was at 119-2.

In the 11th over, Kohler-Cadmore got out after scoring 55(23), and Saim Ayub reached his half-century with a six. In the 12th over, Saim Ayub got out after scoring 51(34). In the 14th over, Rajapaksa smashed back-to-back two fours. In the 15th over, Rajapaksa hit a four, and Peshawar reached 150 runs. In the 16th over, Rajapaksa started the over with a six and got out on the next ball after scoring 24(14). Powell hit a four on the fourth ball and got out on the fifth ball after scoring 20(15). In the 19th over, Shaheen Afridi took two wickets and took the fifer. Peshawar Zalmi scored 201-9 and lost the match by 40 runs.
