It was another big battle in Abu Dhabi’s T10 League 2022. In Abu Dhabi, the 22nd match of the T10 League was held between the New York Strikers and the Northern Warriors on Wednesday, 30th November 2022.

The Northern Warriors won the toss and opted to bat first. The first inning started with Usman Khan and Lyth on the crease, and Akeal Hosein opened the attack. Lyth hit the first four of the inning in the 3rd ball of the first over. However, Akeal Hosein dismissed him in his next over, and he was gone after scoring 14(10).

In the 5th over, Usman Khan took his pace and hit back-to-back boundaries, chasing 19 runs from the single over of Muhammad Waseem. Northern Warriors scored 50 runs with a loss of a single wicket in five overs. Thompson came to bowl his second over and dismissed Usman Khan through his first ball. 

Sherfane Rutherford replaced Usman Khan, hit some boundaries, and the partnership of Rutherford and Powell chased 26 runs from the 9th over. On the other hand, Powell completed his half-century in the last over before getting dismissed by Pollard. Rutherford finished the first inning with a single run. Northern Warriors were able to score 143/3 in the 10 overs.

After the short inning break, the second inning started with Fletcher and Stirling at the crease, and Irfan opened the attack. Irfan got his first success from the first ball of the second inning, and Fletcher was gone without even scoring a single run. Stirling hit the first six of the second inning in the 3rd ball of the first over. However, Stirling was bowled out in 2.2 overs by Junaid Siddique.

In 5 overs, New York Striker scored 72 runs with a loss of 2 wickets. Irfan credited two more wickets of Azam Khan and Pollard to his account in the 6th over. Morgan took his pace in the 7th over, hit boundaries, chased 20 runs single-hand and completed his half-century. 

The 93 runs partnership of Waseem and Morgan ended when Parnel dismissed Waseem in the last ball of the 9th over. New York Strikers completed 132 runs in the 9th over. Junaid tried to throw some dot balls but could not stop Morgan from completing the run chase of 143 runs. Morgan finished the game with a four, and New York Strikers won by 5 wickets.
