For the toss at Simonds Stadium, Geelong, the captains of both the teams came to the crease where Namibia won the toss and chose to bat first. 

The weather conditions were cloudy with barely any grass on the pitch, with some cracks on the pitch but was still good for holding. 

For opening the batting power, Michael van Lingen and Divan la Cock came to the crease to face the bowling of Fred Klaassen. 

Michael van Lingen got the first boundary in the first over which was also the score after 1 over. Maintaining a low pace, Lingen changed the game when he crunched another two fours in the 5th over and lost his wicket to Ackermann, at a score of 30-2. 

The duo Baard and Frylinck managed to cross half-century after 9 overs, getting a score of 51-3. 

To repair the failing score in the innings, Baard and Frylinck added cumulative efforts and Baard lost his wicket to van der Merwe. Keeping up the game slow, the squad moved the score up to 77-4 after 14 overs. At 17.5 overs, Namibia finally got a long off the boundary for a Six. 

Namibia stood with a total score of 121-6 after 20 overs. 

To chase the run chase of 122, Netherlands’ Max O’Dowd and Vikramjit Singh came to the crease with Scholtz on the bowling attack. 

With Vikramjit Singh streaking two fours in the second over only, NED made a great start, scoring 15-0 after 2 overs. In the next over, Singh hit a lovely loft for two sixes and managed to cross half-century just after 6 overs; 51-0. Fuelign great score of 39 off 31, Singh lost his important wicket to Scholtz. 

Max O’Dowd took the batting charge and pulled away the deliveries for sixes and fours; Netherland stood at a score of 76-1 after 11 overs.  

With Bas de Leede and Scott Edwards on the crease, Netherlands managed to cross the century, standing at a score of 102-4 after 16 overs. 

In the Namibia vs Netherlands match, Netherlands defeated Namibia by a major 5 wickets.
