T20 is the shortest format of the game, and hitting a century in this format is not usual. With time players adapted themselves to this format and scored centuries in this format. Many players have scored multiple centuries in T20 live cricket international matches. Many cricket leagues are played in the T20, and thousands of players play league matches, and many have centuries. But we are only going to see the list of centuries in a live cricket International match, and all the players are full members of the ICC.
Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma is at the top with four centuries in international cricket matches. He is an Indian player who debuted in 2007 and is also the first generation T20 player. He scored his first-ever century against South Africa on 2 October 2015, but team India lost the match. The second century came against his favorite opponent Sri Lanka on 22 December 2017, and the third century came against England on 8 July 2018. On 6 November 2018, he scored his fourth T20 live cricket international century against West Indies and became the first-ever player to hit the 4 century in T20 cricket.
Colin Munro
Colin Munro is at 2nd with 3 centuries, and he is from New Zealand. He was also the first player to hit three centuries in T20 later, Rohit Sharma broke his record. He is known for his attacking batting and scored a half-century in just 14 balls against Sri Lanka. It was the fastest century by any New Zealand batsman. He has scored 1724 runs in his 65 international T20 matches. In January 2017, his first century came against Bangladesh in Mount Maunganui, and he scored 101 with help of 7 sixes and 7 fours. The second century came in the same year against India, and he scored 109 runs in a live cricket international match in Rajkot. While the third century came against West Indies on 3 January 2018.
Glenn Maxwell
Whenever we talk about T20, Maxwell will be there. He has dominated this format over the years and has 3 T20 international centuries. In 98 matches, he has scored 2159 runs for Australia with a strike rate of 150.97. His first international century came against Sri Lanka, and he hit 145* runs, which is also his highest score. In 2018, his second century against England scored 103* runs. While the third century came against India, and he scored 103* runs.
Babar Azam
Next in the T20 centuries list is Babar Azam, a Pakistani former cricketer and currently the captain of the team has scored 3 centuries in the International T20 cricket series. First, was against South Africa with a score of 122 runs in September 2016. The second century came against England in September 2022 with the score of 110 runs. His third century was recorded in the match against New Zealand on 15 April 2023, in which he scored 101 runs on 58 balls.
Evan Lewis
Caribbean batter Evan Lewis is next on the list and is in 4th place with 2 T20 live international cricket centuries. Every West Indian player has ruled the cricket bet it, T20 cricket league or T20 international cricket match. Evan Lewis is also one of the most dangerous T20 players, with a career strike rate of 151.97. His both century came against India.
KL Rahul
KL Rahul is next on the list of the most centuries in T20 cricket. He has scored 2 T20 international centuries. He has played 72 T20 international matches for India and scored 2265 runs with a strike rate of 139.12. His first century came against West Indies, scoring 110 runs, while his second century came against England and scored 101*.
Brendon McCullum
The next on the list is Brendon McCullum, one of the most destructive players in International cricket. He scored 2140 runs in 71 international cricket matches. He has scored 2 T20 international centuries, one against Bangladesh and one against Australia, and the scores are 123 and 116*.
Chris Gayle
Universe Boss Christopher Henry Gayle is also on the list with 2 T20 international centuries. Whenever we talk about T20, Gayle will be there in each aspect. He plays in T20 cricket leagues all over the world and has the most number of centuries in the T20 cricket league. He has played 79 international cricket matches and scored 1899 with a strike rate of 137.5. He has scored 2 T20 international centuries, one against South Africa and the second against England. On 16 March 2016, he scored his first-ever T20 international century against England and scored 100* runs in 48 balls with 11 sixes and 5 fours. His second T20 international century came against South Africa on 11 September 2007, and he scored 117 runs in 57 balls with 10 sixes and 7 fours.
Aron Finch
Australian Captain Aron Finch is on the list with 2 T20 international centuries. His first century came against England on 29 August 2013, and he scored 156 runs on 63 balls with help of 14 sixes and 11 fours. His second T20 century came against Zimbabwe on 3 July 2018, and he scored 172 runs in 76 balls with help of 16 fours and 10 sixes.
Martin Guptil
The next on the list is Martin Guptil, from New Zealand. He is in third place as the highest run scorer in T20 cricket and hit his position at first place for a long time, but Indian duo Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli replaced him. He has scored 2 T20 international cricket centuries, one against South Africa and the second against Australia.
Shane Watson
Last in this T20 centuries list is Shane Watson, the Australian all-rounder, who scored his century in T20 international cricket in the match between Australia and India. It was a historical match as even after hitting a century Watson was on the losing side. He scored 124 runs in just 71 balls which includes, 10 fours and 6 sixes. He also made a record that day named as highest individual score in a T20 international cricket.
