France vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup 2022 – Kylian Mbappe scored twice as France defeated Denmark 2-1

Kylian Mbappe scored twice as France defeated Denmark 2-1 on Saturday, becoming the first team to reach the World Cup final 16. The holders are the first team to reach the knockout rounds in Qatar, and the youthful striker was once again the hero, scoring a second-half brace to send France through. In their third and final game, France will face Tunisia. On the other side, Denmark will play Australia in their final match.

After the champions sent waves of efforts at the Danish defense but were unable to break through, Kylian Mbappe put France in ahead almost exactly at the hour mark. Denmark, on the other hand, equalised just minutes later, with Andreas Christensen heading in a corner at the near post. Mbappe then scored his second goal late in the second half, and France became the first team to advance to the World Cup’s Round of 16.
