Captain of Mumbai Indians

Everyone knows Mumbai Indians has had many captains since its inaugural season. And this is the only team who won 5 IPL titles out of 15 under the guidance of legendary captains in cricket. But their major win came under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, his name also comes along MS dhoni when it comes to leading a team to the most winnings. Because of this achievement he is renowned as the most successful IPL captain so far. 

In the 148 games that he has managed Mumbai, Rohit has a record of 83 victories, 61 defeats, and four ties. He has totaled 4709 runs scored in 182 games played with MI, averaging 30.18 and a 129.51 strike rate. A century and 32 half-centuries have also been achieved by the MI captain. He trails CSK captain MS Dhoni in terms of victory percentage, with 56.64. (58.85). 

Mumbai Indians had captains like Harbhajan Singh (2008-2012), Shaun Pollock (2008-2008), Sachin Tendulkar (2008-2011), DJ Bravo (2010-2010), Ricky Ponting (2013-2013), Rohit Sharma (2013-2022), Kieron Pollard (2014-2021). And now for 2023 the captain of MI will be Rohit Sharma again. As in the auction MI retained him for 16 crores to maintain their name at the top.
