At Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, Hambantota, the teams Galle Gladiators and Kandy Falcons clashed for the 4th match of Lanka Premier League 2022. Galle Gladiators won the toss and opted to bat first.

To open the batting attack, Thanuka Dabare and Kusal Mendis came to the crease with Zahoor Khan on the bowling attack. In the first ball only, Thanuka Dabare lost his wicket to Zahoor Khan and the right-handed batter, Azam Khan came to the crease.

After 10 overs, KDF reached at a score of 79-3.

Kamindu Mendis kept hitting long boundaries for the side and Fabian Allen on the pitch, the side crossed the century with a score of 107-4 after 13 overs.

KDF scored 123 runs with a loss of 5 wickets in 15 overs and won the match against GGD by 5 wickets.
