For the 2nd ODI match, Zimbabwe and Ireland squared off against each other on the ground, Harare Sports Club, Harare. 

With both the captains on the pitch, Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bowl first. Stirling and Doheny unveiled the batting attack on the opening bowling of Ngarava. 

In the 2nd over, Stirling bought the first four of the innings while Doheny got his first four in the immediate over and the side got a score of 13 after 3 overs. In the next few overs, Doheny and Stirling crunched fours and sixes and the score shifted to 47 after 10 overs. 

After 11 overs, Ireland crossed the half-century with a score of 55. Both paired up for a great partnership and the side jumped to a score of 85 after 18 overs. After 20 overs, the boys helped their team cross the century, standing at a score of 101. 

Adding 45 off 61 deliveries, Stirling lost his wicket to Brad Evans in the 21st over and the left-handed batter, Murray Commins took the batting charge. In the 24th over, Doheny reached his 50. 

Standing tough for the side, Doheny led the team to jump to a score of 137-2 after 30 overs. Fueling a huge score of  84 off 111 deliveries, Doheny lost his wicket to Ryan Burl. After 39 overs, Ireland crossed the double-century with a score of 201-3. 

After 45 overs, Ireland’s score shifted to 250-4 and Tector got a dismissal from Chatara after scoring 75 runs in 61 balls. 

In 50 overs, Ireland posted 294 runs on the scoreboard with a loss of 7 wickets. 

Chasing down the target of 295, Kaia and Marumani came to the open the batting attack on the opening bowling of Joshua Little. Marumani got out at duck and the right-handed batter, Chamu Chibhabha came to the crease. In the 2nd over, Chibhabha hit the first four for the side. After 3 overs, Zimbabwe got a score of 7-1. In the 8th over, Kaia crunched a four and a six, getting to a score of 31-1. After 12 overs, Zimbabwe crossed the half-century with a score of 54-1. Scoring 40 runs in 55 balls, Chibhabha lost his wicket to McBrine. 

After 20 overs, Zimbabwe got a score of 92-2. In the immediate over, Kaia got a 2nd ODI 50 and helped his team cross the century, standing at a score of 101-2 after 22 overs. 

Kaia lost his wicket to Joshua Little, scoring 51 runs in 70 balls. After 30 overs, Zimbabwe jumped to a score of 152-4. Fueling 41 off 39 balls, Ballance lost his wicket to Campher. After 44 overs, Zimbabwe got a score of 230-6.
