India vs. South Africa, 3rd T20I: South African Batters Amazed India to Set a Target of 227

It’s the 3rd T20I of the Ind vs SA T20I series in Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. The weather was pleasant with a cloudy night. Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked the guest to bat first. The pressure was on SA as they fear whitewash tonight for the first time in India.

Bavuma and Quinton de Kock opened from SA. Bavuma tried to score for his team in this match but couldn’t do much and gave his wicket to Umesh Yadav.

At the end of the Power play, the SA scoreboard read 48-1. Quinton de Kock and Rossouw didn’t startle much with the Indian bowling attack tonight and kept the scoreboard running with boundaries and singles.

Quinton de Kock scored 68 of 43 balls with a SR of 158.14 but got run out on a throw by Shreyas Iyer.

Rilee Rossouw stayed on the crease and kept hitting 4s and 6s and played a fantastic knock of 100 runs, his highest individual T20I score. It’s his maiden T20I century.

The partnership of Rossouw and Stubbs was broken by Chahar as he dismissed Stubb dismissed at a score of 23(18). Miller came on the crease and hit three back-to-back sixes to Chahar to set a target of 227 for India.

The condition tonight seems to favour the batters. Let’s see how the Men in Blue will perform in this massive run chase against the guest.
