India vs Australia, 1st ODI: KL and Jadeja’s Heroic Partnership Helped India Win the Match by 5 Wickets

Australia got all out at 188 runs in 35.4 overs and gave a target of 189 runs to India. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill came to open the batting and Mitchell Starc opened the bowling attack. In the 2nd over, Ishan Kishan got out after scoring 3(8) on the last ball. In the third over, Shubman Gill hit a four and it was the first boundary of the match. In the fifth over, Kohli got out after scoring 4(9) and Suryakumar Yadav got out on the next ball after a duck. After 10 overs, IND was at 39-3.

Shubman Gill got out after scoring 20(31) in the 11th over. In the 13th over, Rahul hit a four and India reached 50 runs. After 15 overs, IND was at 64-4. In the 20th over, Hardik Pandya got out after scoring 25(31). After 20 overs, IND was at 83-5.

In the 25th over, India reached 100 runs. In the 35th over, KL Rahul took a single and brought a half-century and hit a four on the last ball and India reached 150 runs. In the 36th over, Rahul smashed two boundaries. In the 40th over, Jadeja smashed back-to-back two fours and India chased the score. India scored 191-5 and won the match by 5 wickets.
