India Needs 272 Runs to Win 2nd ODI Match Against Bangladesh

At Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, the teams, India and Bangladesh clashed where Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first. 

To unveil the batting attack, Anamul and Litton Das came to the crease on the opening bowling attack of Chahar. In the 2nd over, Anamul smacked first two boundaries on the over from Siraj and lost his wicket in the same over. After 2 overs, the side reached a score of 11-1. 

After 9 overs, Litton Das and Shanto paired up to move up to the score of 39-1 after 9 overs. With Shanto and Shakib Al Hasan on the pitch, Bangladesh boys crossed the half-century, standing at a score of 52-2 after 13 overs. Scoring 21 runs in 35 runs, Shanto lost his wicket to Umran Malik and the right-handed batter, Mushfiqur Rahim came to the crease and immediately smacked a four and the side reached a score of 64-3 after 16 overs. 

With Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mahmudullah on the pitch, Bangladesh crossed the century with a score of 104-6 after 26 overs. In the 29th over, Mehidy Hasan Miraz bought a beautiful six for the side. The duo got to a 50-run stand. In the consecutive over, he bought another six on the delivery from Axar Patel, with a score of 134-6 after 32 overs. 

In the 38th over from Umran Malik, Mehidy Hasan Miraz got his 3rd ODI 50 and their score moved up to 165-6 after 38 overs. Crunching beautiful sixes and fours, Mahmudullah also got to 50-run stand. After 43 overs, the lethal duo jumped up to a score of 188-6. In the immediate over, Mahmudullah hit the ball and got a boundary for the side that led him to score 197 with a loss of 6 wickets after 44 overs. 

In the 46th over, Mahmudullah bought two boundaries, touching the score of 217 with a loss of 6 wickets. Fueling 77 runs in 96 balls, he got a dismissal from Umran Malik and the left-handed batter, Nasum Ahmed came to the crease. 

In the 47th over from Umran Malik, Nasum Ahmed smacked back-to-back two boundaries and one more in the same over, stretching the score up to 231-7. 

In the last over, Mehidy Hasan Miraz reached his maiden ODI century, with Bangladesh posting a total score of 271 with a loss of 7 wickets in the 2nd ODI match.
