Key Highlights 

• India won the toss and opted to bat first at Sydney Cricket Ground. 
• Rohit, Kohli, and SKY scored 50+ runs to put a score of 179 runs for India
• Bhuvi, Axar, Arshdeep, and Ashwin took 2 wickets each for India
• Netherlands scored 123 runs in 20 overs at a loss of 9 wickets. 

To begin the run chase of 180 runs in IND vs NED match, Vikramjit Singh and Max ODowd opened the batting attack on the bowling of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. 

Max ODowd got off the mark of zero with two boundaries in the 2nd over and got a score of 11 after 2 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took the 1st wicket of Bangladeshi batter, Vikramjit Singh. 

Scoring just 16 in 10 balls, ODowd also got an early dismissal from Axar Patel. India kept their bowling tight and stood at a score of 27-2 after 6 overs. 

With Ackermann and Tom Cooper on field, the side somehow managed to cross the half-century; score at 51-3 after 10 overs. In the powerplay, Netherlands could only scalpe out just 21 runs. Fueling 17 off 21, Ashwin took the wicket of Ackermann. In the same over, Ashwin took the wicket of  Tom Cooper as well who added just 9 just for Netherlands and they had a score of 64-5 after 13 overs. 

Thereafter, the right handed batter, Tim Pringle took the batting charge and tickled the ball for a boundary in the first ball of the 14th over and their score went up to 73 after 14 overs with a loss of 5 wickets. 

Stabilizing the team, Tim played the shot of the innings for a six in the next over and with Scott Edwards on side, they got to stand at a score of 81-5 after 15 overs. 

Allowing 20 runs in 15 balls, Shami took the wicket of Pringle in the 16th over and the right handed batter Logan van Beek took the batting charge on crease. Bhuvi dismissed Edwards who got caught out to Hooda. After Edwards, Shariz Ahmad came to the crease and hit the ball back of a length with a bit of width for a boundary. 

Delivering some wonderful yorkers, Arshdeep Singh kept his bowling tight and took the wicket of Van Beekv in the 18th over and the right-handed batter took the batting charge. Meanwhile, the squad crossed century with a score of 101 after 18 overs, losing 8 wickets. 

In the death overs, Shariz Ahmad sliced a hard hit on a wide yorker for a boundary that shifted the score to 109-9 after 19 overs. Playing great innings in the last over, van Meekeren smashed three boundaries consistently. 

In the NED vs IND match, after defeating Pakistan, India got a winning streak against Netherlands as well by 56 runs.
