South Africa Women and Bangladesh Women came against each other in the 20th match of the Women’s World Cup match at Newlands, Cape Town. Bangladesh Women won the toss and decided to bat first.

Shamima Sultana and Murshida Khatun came to bat, and Mlaba opened the bowling attack. Shamima Sultana hit the four in the 2nd over and it was the first boundary of the over. Murshida Khatun got out on duck in the third over. Shamima Sultana got out in the 6th over after scoring 11(16). After 6 overs, BAN women were 23-2. 

Bangladesh women reached 50 runs in the 12th over. After 12 overs, Ban women were 55-2. Sobhana Mostary got out after scoring 27(30) in the 13th over. Shorna Akter got out after scoring 11(11) in the 16th over. Nigar Sultana got out in the 17th over. Bangladesh women reached 100 runs in the 19th over. 

In 20 overs, the Bangladesh women scored 113 runs with a loss of 6 wickets.

Chasing 114 runs, Wolvaardt and Tazmin Brits came to bat, and Marufa Akter opened the bowling attack. South Africa women didn’t play well in the powerplay but didn’t lose the wicket. After 6 overs, the SA women were 26-0.

Tazmin Brits hit a four in the 11th over and South Africa women reached 50 runs. In the 14th over, Tazmin Brits hit back-to-back two fours. In the 16th over, Wolvaardt hit back-to-back two fours. South Africa women reached 100 ruins in the 17th over. Wolvaardt smashed the winning boundary in the 18th over. SA women scored 117 with no loss of wickets and won the match by 10 wickets.
