At Senwes Park, Potchefstroom, the teams, Ireland and England came against each other. With both the captains on the pitch, England women won the toss opted to bat first. 

Grace Scrivens and Liberty Heap opened the batting attack on the opening bowling of Freya Sargent. In the first over only, Scrivens slammed two boundaries. After 3 overs, England women got a score of 31. 

Scrivens kept hitting boundaries and the team score shifted to 43 after 5 overs. After 6 overs, England women crossed the half-century with a score of 55. In the 7th over, Scrivens drilled two back-to-back sixes and crossed her 50-run stand. After 10 overs, England women crossed the century with a score of 105. 

In the 13th over, Liberty Heap lost her wicket to Aimee Maguire after scoring 42 runs in 29 balls. After 14 overs, the team score shifted to 147-1. 

Scoring a huge figure of 93 in 56 balls, Grace Scrivens lost her wicket to Freya Sargent. 

In 20 overs, England women registered 207 runs with a loss of just 2 wickets. 

Chasing the target of 208, Rebecca Gough and Joanna Loughran opened the batting attack on the opening bowling of Lizzie Scott. In the first over, Gough lost her wicket and Annabel Squires came to the crease. 

In the 2nd over, Squires bought the first four for the side and after scoring 9 runs in 8 balls, she lost her wicket to Hannah Baker. After 3 overs. Ireland women got a score of 21-2. Ireland women lost the wickets frequently and the team score shifted to 39-4 after 7 overs. 

After 14 overs, Ireland women’s score shifted to 76-7. In 16.5 overs, Ireland women got bowled out scoring 86 runs and lost the match by 121 runs.
