229 Runs For Second Wicket

The highest-run partnership has been between the two most destructive pairs of the IPL, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli. They made 229 runs in 96 balls against Gujrat Lions in 2016. It was a dream year for Virat Kohli and RCB.

In the 2016 edition of IPL, the 44th match was scheduled between the Gujarat Lions and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Gujarat Lions won the toss and elected to field. Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli came to open. Chris Gayle struggled to score runs and got out after scoring 6 runs in 13 balls. ABD came in the third position to bat alongside VK. 210 Runs For First Wicket

RCB is one of few teams that has been involved in multiple 200-plus partnerships, and it was also made between Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle.

In the 2012 edition of IPL, RCB was playing against the DC, and RCB lost their first wicket very early, but Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli got going. Gayle scored 128 runs, while Kohli scored 73 runs. In response, DC scored 194 runs and lost the match by 24 runs.
