Saim Ayub and Odean Smith came to bat and Jordan opened the bowling attack. Odean Smith smashed the first boundary of the match on the second ball of the first ball and hSaim Ayub hit a four on the fifth ball. In the 3rd over, Odean Smith started the over with a six and Saim Ayub hit a four on the fourth ball. In the 4th over, Saim Ayub got out after scoring 16(13) on the first ball and Odean Smith hit two fours. In the 5th over, Shai Hope started the over with a four, hit a six on the fifth ball, and finished the over with a four. In the 6th over, Odean Smith got out after scoring 21(15) on the third ball and Shai Hope finished the over with a four. After 6 overs, GAW was at 71-2.

Shai Hope kept smashing the bowlers and hit two boundaries in the 8th over. GAW reached 100 runs in the 9th over. Chasing 227 runs, Cornwall and Justin Greaves came to bat and Pretorius opened the bowling attack. Greaves started with back-to-back two fours in the second over and Cornwall got out after scoring 6(9) on the third over. Greaves got out after scoring 16(16) on the fourth ball. After 6 overs, BR was at 38-2.

Chasing a big total, BR kept losing wickets on regular intervals. Laurie Evans got out after scoring 13(10) on the first ball of the 8th over. In the 9th over, Powell got out after scoring 4(5) on the first ball and Athanaze got out after scoring 6(11) on the fourth ball. In the 15th over, Holder got out after scoring 8(12) on the third ball. After 15 overs, BR was at 88-6.

In the 16th over, Brathwaite hit back-to-back two boundaries and BR reached 100 runs. Rivaldo Clarke scored a half-century on the last ball of 20 overs. BR scored 138-6 and lost the match by 88 runs.
