At Simonds Stadium, Geelong, the teams Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat came up for the 10th match of Big Bash League. 

Brisbane Heat won the toss and opted to bat first. In the 2nd ball, Bryant bought the first four of the innings. In the consecutive over, Munro crunched a six and lost his wicket to Akeal Hosein; left handed-batter Matt Renshaw took the charge. After 3 overs, the side reached a score of 18-2. 

The next few overs weren’t really exciting for BRH and Renshaw hit a four in the 9th over, the side crossed the half-century with a score of 60-2. Scoring 25 off 19, Billings lost his wicket to Tom Rogers and the right-handed batter, Jimmy Peirson came to the middle. 

Fueling 29 off 29, Renshaw got a dismissal from Rogers and the team score shifted to 78-4 after 11 overs. After struggling on the pitch, BRH crossed the century with a score of 101-7. 

In the last over, Peirson made all efforts to smack back-to-back four boundaries and BRH posted 137 runs with a loss of 8 wickets. 

To chase down the target of 138, Sam Harper and Maddinson came up on the batting attack on the throw from Neser. In the first ball only, Harper got a dismissal while Fraser bought the first four for the side and he lost his wicket too. 

In the 3rd over, Russell slammed a four and a six and the side got a score of 19-4. While the boys lost their wickets frequently, Russell kept hitting beautiful fours and sixes and MLR crossed the half-century with a score of 51-4 after 7 overs. After 9 overs, the side had a score of 56-4. 

In the 12th over, Russell reached his 50-run stand. Fuelign 57 runs in 42 balls, Russell got a dismissal from Steketee. On the over from Bazley, Hosein drilled a beautiful six and the side reached the century, standing at a score of 100-5 after 16 overs. 

Adding 30 runs in 19 balls for the side, Hosein lost his wicket to Steketee. 

MLR scored 139 runs in 19.2 overs with a loss of 6 wickets and won the match against BRH by 4 wickets.
