Big Bash League 2022-23: Sydney Sixers Defeated Perth Scorchers by 6 Runs

On the ground,  Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, the teams, Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers faced off each other. The latter team won the toss and opted to bowl first.

To chase the target of 152, Eskinazi and Bancroft opened the batting on the bowling of Steve OKeefe. In the first over, Eskinazi bought the first four for the side. In the consecutive over, Bancroft lost his wicket. After 3 overs, PRS got a score of 13-1.

After 6 overs, PRS score shifted to 35-2 and the side crossed the half-century in the 9th over, standing at a score of 54-3. In the 15th over, Hobson smacked a six and a four. Meanwhile, Stephen Eskinazi got his 50 and the side crossed the century with a score of 109-4.

In 20 overs, PRS posted 145 runs with a loss of 7 wickets and lost the match against SYS by 6 runs.
