Rangpur Riders and Sylhet Strikers came against each other in the 2nd qualifier of the BPL at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Sylhet Strikers came here after a loss in the 1st qualifier, while Rangpur Riders came after a win in the eliminator. Rangpur Riders won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Najmul Hossain Shanto and Towhid Hridoy came to bat, and Mahedi Hasan opened the bowling attack. Shanto opened the boundary account with a four in the second over. Sylhet batters played carefully in the powerplay and didn’t lose any wickets in the powerplay. Their batter didn’t take any risk and punished the bad ball. After 6 overs, SYST was 44-0.
