Comilla Victorians and Dhaka Dominators faced each other in the 17th match of the BPL. Dhaka’s captain Nasir Hossain won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Litton Das and Rizwan came at the crease, and Taskin Ahmed opened the bowling attack. Taskin Ahmed sent the dangerous Litton Das to the pavilion on the second ball. Imrul Kayes hit the first boundary of the match in the second over. In the next over, he smashed one six and one four. After 3 overs, CV was 18-1. Mohammad Rizwan took off his pressure with a six in the fourth over. Once again, Imrul Kayes smashed one four and one six in the 5th over. After 6 overs, CV was 42-1.

In the 8th over, Imrul Kayes got out after scoring 33(26) on Nasir Hossain, and Johnson Charles smashed six on the last ball and reached his team’s 50 runs. After 10 overs, CV was 64-2. Robin Das dropped the settled Rizwan in the 13th over. Charles ran out in the 14th over after scoring 20(19). Khushdil Shah came to bat and reached his team 100 mark with a six. He hit the 3 sixes and 2 forces and gathered 29 runs. He smashed two sixes and one four in the next over. In the next over, he smashed three fours and also scored his half-century. Khushdil Shah returned to the pavilion after scoring 64 runs, and Soumya Sarkar got a big success. In the last over, Rizwan also scored his half-century with a four.

In 20 overs, Comilla Victorians scored 184 runs with a loss of 4 wickets.

Chasing 185 runs, Shehzad and Soumya Sarkar came to the crease, and Abu Hider opened the bowling attack. In the 4th over, Shehzad hit the four on the first and fourth balls, and Soumya Sarkar got out on the last ball without scoring a run. In the next over, Robin Das got out without scoring a run, and Tanvir Islam got out. After 3 overs, DHDM was 12-2. In the 4th over, Shehzad smashed four on the first ball, and Mithun hit the four on the fifth ball. After 6 overs, DHDM was 343-2.

Mithun ran out in the first ball of the 7th over. Nasir Hossain hit two four in the 10th over on Khushdil Shah and reached his team to 50 mark. In the next over, Nasir Hossain smashed two boundaries – one four and one six. Mosaddek Hossain broke the 50-plus partnership by sending Mithun to the pavilion. After 15 overs, DHDM was 93-4.

Nasir Hossain smashed one four and one six in the 17th over. In the 18th over, Ariful Haque smashed four on the second and last ball, and Nasir Hossain smashed four on the fourth ball and reached his fifty. Once again, Nasir Hossain smashed two back-to-back boundaries in the 19th over. Dhaka Dominators scored 151/4 and lost the match by 33 runs.
